Swimming is a life skill as well as great exercise and a challenging sport. Ys offer swim lessons for all ages, family swim, competitive swimming and many kinds of adaptive swim programs for everyone, so we can all safely enjoy the pleasures of an aquatic environment.

PAV YMCA SUMMER LOCKER ROOM POLICY (6/10-8/16): Summer Camp runs from Monday, June 10 through Friday, August 16. To ensure the safety of children participating in Summer Camp, adults 18+ must use the Adult Locker Rooms during Summer Camp hours from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM Monday through Friday. Access code can be obtained from the Front Desk. Thank you for your cooperation.
SWIM LESSONS

The Y is “America’s Swim Instructor” and the most accessible community resource to prevent drowning and encourage a lifelong enjoyment of swimming. The Y introduced the country to group swim lessons more than 100 years ago and each year teaches more than a million children water safety and swimming skills.
WATER EXERCISE

Water Exercise classes combine a light to moderate aerobic workout with exercises in the shallow and deep water to help increase endurance, core strength and flexibility.

CERTIFICATIONS

Learn how you can save lives! Become Red Cross certified to provide CPR/AED/First Aid or renew your current certification in our shorter, review courses! Customized or small group classes are also available off-site and can be scheduled at your convenience upon request.
SWIM TEAM

The Pav Poseidon's Swim Team is a competitive swim team for boys and girls ages 6-21. If you have an experienced swimmer that is looking for a team contact the head coach at swimteam@pavymca.org.
