We are increasing the amount of people allowed to swim in our pool beginning Monday, May 3rd, 2021. This will allow for more reservation time. If you are not going to use the lanes to do lap swim, Please DO NOT rsvp on this reservation.  Lanes 3-6 will be for lap swim users only. You will need to go to the Water Exercise reservation page!


***Due to the increase in the amount of "NO SHOWS,' for lap lane reservations, IF you are unable to keep your reservation please cancel your reservation at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled reservation, to allow others the ability use open lane reservations. If you fail to cancel 3 consecutive reservations, you will not be allowed to make future reservations for up to 30 days.*


Lap Swim & Water Walking/Exercise:

Once entering the building masks must be worn fully covering your nose and mouth. You will be temperature checked at the desk, and provide staff with last name for reservation check in. You will then scan in using your membership ID and directed  to the pool area. You will be given a max of 20 minutes once your reservation block is over to use the locker rooms for showering, and getting dressed. Those members who cycle or commute via bus or train, or that need special accommodations  will be given access to get dressed in the locker room prior to swimming. After you are done in the locker rooms, you will exit from the front of the locker rooms. Age 16+ swim time with ample lap lanes and open shallow and deep areas to exercise. Lap lanes reserved for swimming lengths continuously.  It is highly encouraged for you to bring your own equipment. We will have the following equipment available: kickboards, noodles, deep water belts, pull buoy, and water dumbbells.


Lap Swim

Starting Monday, 5/3/21 lanes 3,4,5,& 6 will be designated for those wanting to do lap lanes only.  Absolutely no water exercise or walking to be held in these lanes. There will be a max of 2 people per lane.  Lanes 1 and 2 will be designated for family swim, water exercise and walking only. Please see Water Exercise reservations, to rsvp lanes 1 & 2 for water exercise and walking.  


During Phase 4, swimming facilities licensed by IDPH can open to a maximum 50 percent capacity.  Wave pools may open, but without the use of wave generation equipment. Operators, employees, and customers should wear face coverings when not engaged in swimming activities. Exceptions can be made for children younger than 2 years of age or people with medical conditions or disabilities that prevent them from safely wearing a face covering. Operators, employees, and customers should frequently wash their hands or use hand sanitizer containing at least 60 percent alcohol. Operators, employees, and customers should adhere to social distancing where applicable.


Updated Safety Policies and Procedures:

  • Lap Swim or Water Walking/Exercise is only for members.
  • Members may only swim during their reserved time.
  • Number of members in the pool will be limited for social distancing.
  • Social distancing will be expected at all times.
  •  Members must follow signage indicating equipment that will not be in use in order to help space out our members.
  • masks must be worn at all times when outside of the pool
  • Only our bottle filler on the first floor (located between the men's and women's locker rooms) will be available to refill bottles. Please bring your own water bottle.
  • Your reservation will be cancelled if you do not show up after 15 minutes of your scheduled time, to allow space for another member to use the lane.
